BENQ's W Series

Getting the best color for your viewing experience brings out the best in you. More satisfied feeling and more gusto in wanting to see more. That's what the BENQ W Series offers to its customers. No disappointment but just delivering the company thrust "Bringing Enjoyment N Quality to life"

Panel matters. Of course it does matter o people who are inclined to arts whether it is on boards or on graphics. The final result is a the masterpiece. Panels determine the image quality, clarity, color performance, brightness, viewing angles, and many more that may affect the outcome

The BENQ's W Series is equipped with this VA panel technology or Vertical Alignment panel technology. These VA Panels were manufactured by AUO Optronics, a world-leading TFT-LCD manufacturer in the design, R&D and manufacturing of TFT-LCD panels. Its features are the following

Ultra High Native Contrast

There are two types of contrast ratio:"native", which is what the panel itself can do, and "dynamic", which is the contrast performance based on the signal source and backlight technology

True Blacks and Minimized Light Leakage

Known for minimized light leakage and naturally deeper blacks, VA panels bring out flawlessly layered and contrasted details in the most complex images by keeping the back light from passing through

True 8 Bit Color Performance

An 8-bit VA panel delivers smooth and more stable color transitions by rendering a total of 16.7 million color shades simultaneously. A 6-bit panel with Advanced Frame Rate Control (ARFC) requires interpolation to display the same number of colors as a true 8-bit panel does.

178 / 178 Wide-Viewing Angles

You can enjoy truly authentic colors and ultra sharp details from left, right, above and below with a wide-viewing angle of 178 degrees / 178 degrees.  Viewing, as you know it, will never be the same.

With their launch last September 13, 2012 they had invited people from the photography industry to try and attest about the result of the images in these VA Panels.  Perhaps people from BENQ were honored enough to hear right compelling from one of the photographers.  Model units were also present to showcase the difference.
