POINT BLANK Full Blast Launch!

Last August 6, 2011 at the Cyberzone of SM North EDSA Annex, e-Games had a full blast grand launch of the newest first-person shooter (FPS) game called Point Blank. It is the latest game offering of IP e-Game Ventures Inc. and X-Play Online Games Inc. POINT BLANK is develop by Korean-based Zepetto which is a fast-paced, action-packed FPS game pitting two opposing teams that are preventing each other from accomplishing game missions.

Since after the reign of famous FPS games, here comes now the era of POINT BLANK. It currently ranks as one of the best online game titles around the world. Figure shows that the game tops in Indonesia and Thailand with 100.000 and 35,000 CCUs or concurrent users, respectively, as well as in Russia. With POINT BLANK charting up in online games it is now making its name in the markets of North and South America.

Here are some words from the people behind E-Games and X-Play as they fully and commercially launched the said FPS game. According to X-Play Online games Chief Operating Officer Ronald Aquino “Point Blank is definitely a game-changer in the local online FPS game market. The game offers a breadth of features that players look for from an online FPS game that they cannot find from the other titles.” IP e-Games Vice President for Marketing Miguel Bauza said that the company has aggressively promoted POINT BLANK Philippines which began nearly three months ago. “We certainly upped the ante when it comes to promoting the game,” Bauza said. “Gone are the days wherein we would just post ads on magazines and newspapers, take television and radio spots, or let the posters do the talking. We are now taking advantage of the means that takes us really near to our target crowd.”

The event sure did made a point as it heightens up with every gamers winning in each of their match. It’s a 5v5 tournament wherein the top prize was P20,000 in cash plus exclusive POINT BLANK merchandise and in-game items. Aside from the match up tournament the event was also amplified with the music of local band groups like Masterplan, Shure band, and the Silent Sanctuary. Of course an event would not be complete without the beautiful models, lively host and the anticipated raffle of giveaways and prizes.
